Eligibility Criteria

The following criteria must be met by applicants to qualify for the University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship 2020.

• You must be an international student, who is not a New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or a resident visa holder.
• Start an eligible degree program at the University of Auckland.
• You must be a full-fee-paying international student, who has received a conditional or unconditional offer. Or you can be an English Language Academy student with a conditional or unconditional offer.
• You can pursue a PGDip or a Master’s degree (minimum 120 points) or a Bachelor’s degree with secondary or postsecondary qualifications from overseas.
• Maintain an excellent academic record, with a grade-point equivalent (GPE), of at least 6,00.
• English proficiency is required by the university.
• Distance education students are not eligible.
