Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

  1. The applicant must be the child of a worker in the mining industry who is registered with the Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI).
  2. The worker must have at least three years of service in the mining industry.
  3. The applicant’s family income should not exceed Rs. 60,000 per month.
  4. The applicant must be enrolled in a recognized educational institution.
  5. The applicant must have secured at least 50% marks in the previous examination.
  6. The applicant must be a resident of Punjab.

Application Process

  1. Obtain an application form from the concerned Mines and Minerals Welfare Officer.
  2. Fill out the application form completely and accurately.
  3. Attach the required documents, including:
    • EOBI card of the worker
    • Income certificate
    • Mark sheets of the previous examination
    • Enrollment certificate from the educational institution
    • Domicile certificate
    • Two passport-size photographs

Deadline

Submit the completed application form to the concerned Mines and Minerals Welfare Officer before the deadline of November 20, 2024.
