Who Can Apply?

1. New PhD Applicants : Those who are applying to full-time PhD programmes at one of Singapore’s Autonomous University (AUs), including the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore University of Technology and Design and Singapore Management University.
2. Current PhD Students: Students enrolled in a PhD at an institution in Singapore, provided that they are currently in their first or second years of study. Candidates with more than two years’ study experience are not eligible.

Candidates must also demonstrate an interest in AI fundamental research. Singaporeans, Singapore Permanent Resident, and ASEAN Nationals are given preference, but international candidates are encouraged to apply.
