Overview of the NUS-IRP Scholarship
The NUS-IRP scholarship is specifically designed to support PhD students who are undertaking advanced research at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Scholarship recipients will undergo comprehensive training that includes independent research, experimental work, and in-depth study, all of which culminates in the submission of a thesis. With guidance from leading supervisors, students can explore their chosen fields within any of the seven departments in the Faculty of Science (FoS) and immerse themselves in rigorous academic and research programs.

Eligibility Criteria
The NUS-IRP scholarship is open to Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, and International Students. To qualify, applicants must meet the following academic requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree with at least a 2nd Class Upper Honours, or its equivalent.
- For students who completed undergraduate programs in non-English speaking countries, valid GRE scores (minimum 320/340 for Verbal + Quantitative and 3.5/6 for Analytical) are required. Additionally, TOEFL (minimum 85/120 for internet-based) or IELTS (minimum 6.0/9) scores must be provided.
